Craft Class - Paper Flowers

This is one of my favorites :)

There are lots of techniques used in this card but they are all simple.

A good tip I can give is with your backing papers if you prick holes about 1/2cm apart and use a silver marker it looks like stitching. Really finishes it off. Plus, if you are like me and cant cut very straight it takes the eye away from this.

The shapes are all die cuts so thats very simple. The bird has been sanded down for definition.

The flowers are so effective but easy to make. If you fold a peice of tissue paper so you have 10 layers and drawer a circle (size of 2p) cut it out and you will have 10 circles. Pop a brad through and scrunch in each layer one by one, open them out slightly with a pokey tool and you have a gorgeous flower!! This looks fab in any colour for any card.
